Milk Paint & Ash Utility Bowl

These hand turned bowls are made from Ash found in our ancient woodland, here in East Sussex.

From log to bowl, each piece is turned green and textured to imitate the tool marks typicially left behind with the use of historic pole lathes. They are then allowed to dry to their final form before being given hand carved accents, three coats of organic milk paint and two coats of food safe oil.

As these bowls are beautifully hand made, each is totally unique and individual.
