Product Care

Candles
On your very first burn, let the candle burn long enough for the top layer of wax to liquefy completely from edge to edge. This helps prevent tunnelling.
Trim the wick before each subsequent burn, to remove the mushroom.
Stop burning the candle when 1cm of wax remains, to prevent the glass getting too hot.
Keep away from draughts, pets and kids, and out of direct sunlight.
Diffusers
1. Gently remove the stopper from the glass vessel.
2. Carefully place the reeds inside the vessel. All of our diffusers use rattan reeds which are naturally porous, allowing for the gradual absorption of the liquid moving up the reeds.
3. To get the most out of the reeds, we advise flipping them every two weeks. This speeds up the saturation rate and gives the scent diffusion a nice boost.
4. Did you know you can control the scent level to suit your preference? The more reeds used, the stronger the scent will be. Four to five reeds work well for small rooms, or to create a more subtle scent.
5. Due to the nature of the reeds and how they become saturated with liquid, it is best to always place your diffuser on a protective plate to ensure no liquid damages surfaces. Also, take special care that the reeds do not touch painted surfaces or other materials such as wallpaper, curtains, polished or synthetic surfaces or fabrics, as this may cause staining.

Refillable Jars
Some of our jars are refillable. To remove the wax from the jar place the jar in a bowl of warm water and wait for the wax to melt. Once molten, remove with a kitchen towel and dispose of in your usual bin. Wash out the jar with warm soapy water.
Use the sticky pad on the bottom of your refill to attach it into your new jar, and follow the care tips for candles above.
Room Sprays
Before each use, check the label for the product-specific guidance, especially if you are using a new fragrance. A gentle shake can help ensure the fragrance is evenly dispersed, then hold the bottle upright and spray into the open air rather than directly at furnishings.
For an average-sized room, two or three sprays are usually enough. Stand near the centre of the room or just inside the doorway, point the nozzle upwards and mist into the space.
Opening a window for a few minutes before spraying can make the result feel cleaner and more refined.
Avoid spraying directly onto polished wood, painted surfaces, delicate fabrics, food, flames or electrical items. Keep the bottle away from heat and out of the reach of children and pets.
